Home Learning
This comprises of individualised, hard copy learning and/or directed online learning. On our ‘e-learn’ platform there is a ‘Home Learning’ site. This has revision maths modules and directs you to the National Academy for daily scheduled lessons for each year group. There is also an online learning tab where you will be directed to a wide range of online learning resources currently used in school such as SumDog, TTRS, White Rose Maths, and freely available websites such as BBC Bitesize, Oxford Owls, Hungry Little Minds and Oak Academy.
Staff are happy to plan a package of books/worksheets etc. matched to the work covered in class and to the individual needs of each child. This can then be delivered or posted to you and brought back and quarantined when your child(ren) return to school.
We do understand that if children are unwell, they may not be able to complete work. Similarly, if staff become unwell, they may not be able to update tasks straight away.
